2405Street Chic

Published by Miss Comptoir COMPTOIR TREND

Street Chic is bang on trend! Fashion is all about mixing & matching, offbeat looks and the unexpected. How do you find the right formula? Pair loose, cool street-style pieces with structured tailored items. We are banking on quilted materials, reworked sweatshirts mixed with silk and clean cuts for an incredibly fashionable, high-energy urban look!

Today Alice, a sociology student, is modeling three looks to prove that sometimes, in fashion, opposites attract!

For a trip around town or an exhibition with friends, nothing beats a pair of sneakers for comfort! A blazer to structure everything and we have ourselves a very cool city look.

- hi-tops

Street style also knows how to play it soft, mixing a restructured sweatshirt jacket with tender Calla floral prints, all combined to give a romantic street look.

For the office, dare to mix a sweatshirt with a pencil skirt for an urban business look, which can also be worn after hours for showing off your style in a sidewalk café!

2105Fifties Pastel

Published by Miss Comptoir COMPTOIR TREND

We can all think of Fifties icons and the key looks associated with them... This summer, we’re mixing them up for 2013, playing the cute little details card to the hilt: bows, flowers or flounces, and 7/8th lengths for new-generation Capri pants.

And it’s Ségolène, a pretty communications student, who is playing the fifties heroine in three looks.

We all remember the forbidden romance between Baby and Johnny in Dirty Dancing and we have all tried a hundred times to reproduce the routines in our living room. Instead of risking spraining an ankle, we’re pinching the heroine’s Fifties Lolita look. A knotted shirt over turned-up skinny jeans, a pair of ballet flats, and you’re good to go!

1604The suede dress: It-piece alert!

Published by Miss Comptoir COMPTOIR TREND

With its sixties cut updated for 2013, the perforated suede dress at 325 euros is one of our It-pieces for summer. Stylish, striking or folk, it adapts to any occasion and is something all fashionistas can agree on! The proof in pictures with Mélanie, selected through our Facebook casting, who presents three fashionable variations.

To play the folk card, chose a trendy festival look: cheche-style scarf, the skin jacket whose pool blue blends perfectly with the natural tones of the dress, and fringed suede boots. A lively head-to-toe suede look!

- skin jacket
- wedge ankle boots
- Copacabana print scarf

A stylish approach to the suede dress? Yes, it’s a cool, elegant and offbeat take on the working girl look. Why not wear it to an after-work party or drinks with friends at Le Schmuck? Pair it with a slightly oversized tailored jacket, a two-tone clutch and T-bar shoes for an incredibly feminine yet effortless look we love!

- tuxedo jacket
- T-bar shoes
- two-tone clutch

For those who love color: the natural tones always go perfectly with bright colors, such as this pollen yellow cable knit pullover that’s ideal for mid-season! For a fashionable preppy style, belt it high at the waist with a finely woven golden belt and accessorize it with a tie dye scarf and suede wedge ankle boots.

The suede dress is our favorite pick! And despite what you might think, it does not always mean a head-to-toe folk look: you can mix it in endless variations for a range of different city looks.
