You now know the major trends of our new Fall/Winter 2012 collection, sweetly named Arty Bird. You have even already had a chance to see the first pieces worn by lovely Cannelle.
And now here’s the film! A new feel, a new video: from urban poetry to a neon dream, we discover a modern heroine who changes outfit as the mood takes her.
Her everyday life? A day and night bird, she switches her look to match the situation. She wanders around her Eastern Paris apartment by day and along the Canal Saint Martin at night.
With a more offbeat and arty feel, she mixes Bauhaus and Mod-inspired straight lines and streamlined cuts. She has fun with pictorial references and twists the bourgeois codes in a more intimate Egon Schiele style or with a more Art Deco feel in the style of Gustave Klimt. In short, she plays with fashion, which is what Arty Bird is all about!
This aesthetic and graphic short film was directed by Diane Sagnier, whom we’ll tell you about shortly.
And for music lovers (many of you ask us every time!), the soundtrack is “Petit abricot” by Noob.
Will you be Mod, cozy or Art Deco?
