Hello Marie, you, your blog... tell us all :)
My name is Marie Grimoult, I’m 29 and I’ve been blogging for almost 6 years now. "The Chronicles of a Blonde" is as much about fashion as it is about beauty, looks, videos, my crushes, my best addresses. Apart from that, I’m crazy about nail polish (and equally about chocolate mousse), shoes that I collect and great brunches with friends.

For you, does fashion go hand in hand with beauty?
For me, beauty is a whole! It’s not necessary to be dressed to the nines and always wear make-up. It’s much more than that. Fashion is something you make. No use following all the trends, the important thing is to feel right and to dare. For me, fashion and beauty are therefore indissociable.

What is your style?
I usually say that I have no particular style. But in fact, when I review my outfits, I note that on one hand, they centre round denim which is the key piece for me, and on the other, I like to give them a rock’n’ roll edge. Plus I always wear heels, whatever happens.

What was the last thing you bought?
An insomniac’s purchase, as I like to call them :)
4 in the morning, can’t sleep, so I loiter on the net, visit an e-shop, a fringed suede jacket catches my eye, an outfit immediately forms up in my mind, I click on “validate the order” and start… to feel guilty. I try to convince myself that it was a good idea while I wait to receive it :)

« This second look is based round a pair of denim (hey yes!) that I love wearing with my boots and tights. It’s raining at the moment but it does not put me off wearing my shorts. »

White boots!! No way could I wear that...

A beauty tip to give us?
Just one?! Oh dear... I would have like to say "sleep" like a model with a porcelain complexion might say, but it would be overdone :) Get used to wearing a corrector under your concealer, I discovered that recently and it really works! It’s changed my life. My eyes no longer look tired and my dark circles are very much less visible (be light-handed with the concealer though).

« The third and last look naturally had to be black slims, worn with very high heels. It’s THE basic and practically daily attire for me. »

How did you choose your Comptoir looks, which style did you want to give them?
The Comptoir looks which I composed is exactly me! I wanted the Comptoir outfits to be those you can find on my blog, that are most like me. In any case, those are the pieces I turned to instantly.
